Olympic
Laser Processing
In
January 1997, Olympic announced the formation of a
joint venture with U. S. Steel to process laser
welded sheet steel blanks. The joint venture,
doing business as Olympic Laser Processing (OLP),
is a 50/50 venture. Olympic Steel is the managing
partner and focuses on the operational and
administrative aspects of the company. U. S. Steel
is the marketing partner and will provide the
orders and supply the steel to be toll processed
