Storage and Handling

At the roll-former:
The coils must be inspected upon receipt by the Buyer to ensure that no water damage has occurred during shipment and discoverable damage (if any) must be reported to the Seller
The coils must be used within 90 days from the date of receipt at the Buyer's plant
During storage at the Buyer's plant, the coils must be kept in a dry, temperature-controlled environment
After roll-forming, the panels must be sent to the job site within one month after fabrication
During storage at the Buyer's plant - prior to shipment to the job site - the roll-formed bundles must be maintained in a dry, temperature-controlled environment
During shipment to the job site, the bundles must be covered to protect the shipment from moisture intrusion

At the job site:
Upon arrival at the job site, the roll-formed sheet bundles must be inspected to ensure that no water damage has occurred during shipment and discoverable damage (if any) must be reported to the Seller
At the job site, the bundles must be protected from the elements by storing them indoors or, at a minimum, storing them on protected pallets with a canvas or other waterproof covering, leaving the bottom of the covering open to allow air movement - the bundle must be tilted to allow free drainage of moisture
At the job site, the bundles must also be protected from exposure to corrosive chemicals and fumes
